WordPress support
I’ve been working with WordPress before it was even called WordPress, back when it was a simple blogging platform with another name. I know it inside and out. I can support it, plugins it uses, themes – the lot.
Also because I’m so familiar with it’s code I’m quick – there’s not a lot I can’t fix, setup or investigate for you very quickly.
So it’s not just that I can resolve common problems; I can advise on new functionality you might want, install new plugins and set them up for you – I can do the lot.
WordPress software updates (WordPress core version, themes and plugins)
One of the big advantages to WordPress is that you can edit and publish content yourself. But the WordPress system itself is actually something if a coding behemoth. The way plugins interact with each, with the main WordPress version – and let’s not forget themes which are often poorly put together – can all have very big impacts on your site. It’s not uncommon for a seemingly innocuous update to take your entire site offline.
And after that happens, well you need a professional just to get it working again.
I research all the different versions first, looking into how they’ll work together before I ever update anything. So not only will the site work after I’m done, there’s no fear of it being taken offline even temporarily while I run the upgrade processes.
Backups
It goes without saying that you need backups. Backing up protects you if your site is hacked, goes offline, or even just if you click a few wrong buttons and delete some really key content.
I manage all this, backing up the database daily (which protects your settings and content) and the entire file-base twice a week too.
More than that, I back things up in a remote location. Most backup tools just save a copy of the website onto the same hosting it runs from. If the server fails or has a problem not only will you lose your site – but all your backups too!
By keeping your backups on a secure remote server they will always be available should you need them.
Hosting
I host a lot of sites, with almost zero downtime. The servers are optimised for speed, and because of my extensive WordPress knowledge I’ve made a few custom tweaks to help WordPress run as quickly as possible.
All my servers are physically based in the UK – which is ideal. If you run a UK business and/or target the UK market, the best place to host your site is locally. That way your customers don’t have to load sites across the ocean, they’re all nearby and much faster.

As part of this service I’ll do an initial SEO overhaul when you first come on board with me and then carry right on with a WordPress SEO campaign for maximum success.
Terms
There is a three month minimum term. That’s the only way I can justify the discounts included in these package prices.
